Welcome to Kingsway Kennels!

Our Mission

Our mission is deliver you peace-of-mind when you are away from your beloved pet. We strive to keep your pet comfortable happy and healthy during their stay.

Health and Safety

When you first come to Kingsway Kennels, be prepared to have your proof of current vaccinations. This is important for the health of all the animals that we care for including your pet.

Dogs require the vaccines for DHP (or DAP), Rabies, and Bordetella (canine cough). Bordetella vaccine must be given a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival.

Cats must be vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper, Leukaemia and FIP.

We also recommend that your pet be on a flea and tick prevention program.

Food and Medication

We encourage you to bring the food that your pet is accustomed to in a hard plastic container. We have found that maintaining your pet on the same diet that they are used to reduces stress on their system and helps make them feel at home.

If your pet requires special food or medication, please leave specific instructions. We want to make sure that we keep them on their regular schedule.

Boarding Check-out Time

Check-out time is 11am. Day care fees apply when a pet is checked-out between 4pm and 6pm.

After Hours Pick-up

Picking up your pet outside of operating hours must be pre-arranged and the fee is $35.

Our normal operating hours are 8am-11am and 4pm-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-11:30am on Saturday and Sunday.

Cancellation

A cancellation fee is assessed when we are not given 7 days notice to rebook your spot when you cancel during a “peak boarding period”. The fee is 50% of the cost of the reserved boarding time. Peak boarding periods are Christmas and March Break.
