Who We Are
At Kingsway Kennels our goal is to provide a quality, caring environment for your pet while you are away. We know it can be difficult to be separated from your pet, but we are here to set you at ease.

Kingsway Kennels was established in 1980, and is under the new ownership of Rick and Anita Paju. Rick and Anita are self confessed dog and cat lovers, and are truly excited to carry on the services to Essex County and to pet owners.

You will feel relieved knowing your dog or cat is safe, comfortable and being cared for by experienced pet care professionals.

We encourage you to visit to our kennel to see firsthand the accommodations your pets will enjoy on their vacation at "Essex County's Pet Resort".

Please contact us if you'd like more information or to make a reservation.

Our Staff
The staff at Kingsway kennels all LOVE dogs and cats! We all have our own pets and know how difficult it can be to leave your pet in the care of someone else. This is why we treat each and every pet as if they were our own, with love, care and attention. We provide the type of environment we would leave our own pet in, if unable to care for themselves.

Rick & Anita Paju - Innkeepers
Rick and Anita love dogs and cats with a passion and enjoy spending time with, and caring for each and every one of their guests.  It is easy to observe their passion and enthusiasm for animals, and that they truly have fun doing what they do.

Sarah Fotheringham, Certified Dog Trainer
Sarah's
passion for animals as a child led her to pursue her certification in Professional Dog Training. During her training, She had the opportunity to work with over 30 different breeds of dogs. This intense course covered a wide range of topics including obedience training, how to positively correct problem behaviours, pet nutrition and everything in between.  Sarah has an Honours Biology degree from the University of Guelph and has taken a Pet First Aid course at St. Clair College. She is a recognized member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers.
